Kraft Foods is the second largest food company in the world and one of the subsidiaries of Philip Morris Companies Inc.
In 2008, TalkingChina Translation signed an agreement with Kraft. The interpretation services cover major first-tier cities in Beijing, Shanghai and Guangzhou. It provides interpretation for nearly 100 conferences of Kraft every year. In addition, TalkingChina provides one-stop document localization services including DTP. Because most of the source contents are commodity packaging and the format is complicated and diverse. Before translation, TalkingChina has to do lots of project engineering processing and file format converting. At the same time, in response to Kraft's long-term demand, TalkingChina has built a Kraft separate corpus, which saves time and improves translation efficiency. Up to now, TalkingChina has translated more than two million words for Kraft.
