To implement the outcomes of the first China-Arab States Summit, advance the goals of the "Eight Common Actions" for practical China-Arab cooperation, and strengthen deep collaboration in the animation industry, the "China-Arab States Animation Industry Forum" was held in Suzhou, Jiangsu Province, from August 30 to September 1. Tangneng Translation provided full-process Chinese-Arabic simultaneous interpretation and equipment rental, as well as Chinese-to-Arabic translation services for forum materials such as meeting manuals.
Co-hosted by China’s Ministry of Culture and Tourism, the Jiangsu Provincial People’s Government, and the Secretariat of the League of Arab States, the forum was themed "China and Arab States in a New Era: Creating the Future Through Animation." Approximately 200 guests from 9 countries and regions including Egypt, Algeria, Saudi Arabia, the UAE, Jordan, and Tunisia, along with Chinese counterparts, gathered to discuss industrial strategies, renew China-Arab friendships, and envision the bright prospects of jointly building the Belt and Road Initiative.
At the opening ceremony, multiple Chinese and Arab institutions jointly launched an animation industry alliance; Chinese and Arab cultural enterprises and institutions signed contracts for co-production of TV animations, animated films, film digitization cooperation, and animation-related film, television, and technical services; and four pairs of Chinese and Arab universities signed cooperation documents to jointly promote the cultivation of animation and art talent.
On the morning of August 31, a city digital culture industry investment promotion event themed "China-Arab Digital Intelligence Sharing: Driving Urban Futures" was held, during which the "China Office of Saudi Arabia’s Sinivivs Film Company in Riyadh" was unveiled—marking the first time a cultural company from the Arab region has established an office in China. On the afternoon of the 31st, an enterprise forum themed "Exploring New Scenarios, Models, and Formats for China-Arab Animation Cooperation" took place, followed by a university forum and youth forum on the morning of September 1 with the theme "Cultural Talent Cultivation in International Educational Digital Transformation."
