2021 marks the 30th anniversary of the establishment of dialogue relations between China and ASEAN. In October, Chinese President Xi Jinping held a telephone conversation with Singaporean Prime Minister Lee Hsien Loong. It is reported that a number of cooperation projects between Shenzhen and Singapore in smart city development have made good progress. Last year’s signed projects included e-invoicing, joint innovation in 5G, the Internet of Things (IoT), and blockchain, smart robotics and smart agriculture cooperation, and joint innovation in digital twin technology.
