December 11, 2019: In the morning, Su Yang, General Manager of Tangneng Translation, signed a remote simultaneous interpretation cooperation agreement with Wang Haibo, General Manager of Yiniu Technology; in the afternoon, she attended the signing ceremony and plaque awarding for the "Translation Professional Degree Graduate Practice Base" organized by Dean Gao Yongwei, Director Tao Youlan, and Teacher Wang Yanqiang of the School of Foreign Languages at Fudan University.

Yiniu Technology, with an "AI heart," is an internet technology company specializing in R&D and services for new products in industries such as voice, data, and interaction. Headquartered in Shanghai, it has branch offices in Beijing, Guangzhou, Chengdu, etc., with a R&D center located in Suzhou Binhu.
The agreement signed between Tangneng and Yiniu Technology targets the Yiniu Cloud Simultaneous Interpretation product cooperation project. Tangneng Yiniu Cloud Simultaneous Interpretation achieves cost-effective and highly stable simultaneous interpretation services through a combination of human simultaneous interpretation and remote technology. Using same-level simultaneous interpreters, it ensures translation quality equivalent to traditional simultaneous interpretation, while eliminating the need to deploy traditional simultaneous interpretation machines and receivers at the conference site. Guests can directly enter the conference interface by scanning a QR code, select different language channels to listen to content, and utilize voice recognition technology for real-time bilingual text projection and synchronized viewing on mobile devices. This new technology costs less than traditional simultaneous interpretation with infrared equipment.

Signing Ceremony and Plaque Awarding for "Translation Professional Degree Graduate Practice Base" with Fudan University
The School of Foreign Languages and Literatures of Fudan University is one of the earliest established departments of Fudan University. Its predecessor, the Department of Foreign Languages, has the same history as the university and has a history of more than one hundred years. At present, the School of Foreign Languages and Literatures of Fudan University has seven departments: the Department of English, the Department of French, the Department of German, the Department of Japanese, the Department of Russian, the Department of Korean, and the Department of Translation. Each department has a master's program, and there are two doctoral programs of "English Language and Literature" and "Foreign Linguistics and Applied Linguistics" and a "Post-Doctoral Mobile Station of Foreign Languages and Literatures".
The school is now a first-level doctoral degree-granting unit in Foreign Languages and Literatures, holding a leading national position in foreign language teaching and academic research. Over the years, it has undertaken and completed dozens of national social science fund projects, as well as research projects from the Ministry of Education and Shanghai Municipal Government. Current major projects include the Chinese-English Dictionary of China led by Professor Lu Gusun.
The signing of the "Translation Professional Degree Graduate Practice Base" agreement continues Tangneng's long-standing cooperation with Fudan University. Tangneng has had a close relationship with Fudan for many years: faculty and students from the School of Foreign Languages and Literatures have consistently participated in Tangneng's oral and written translation projects, and three former MTI graduates now work full-time at Tangneng. In January 2019, Tangneng signed a cooperation framework agreement with the school to establish a translation practice base.
With the advent of the 5G era, Tangneng continues to strive to provide more comprehensive translation services for more efficient communication. Meanwhile, it will further strengthen university-enterprise cooperation to cultivate a large number of translation professionals.
