Since June 30, 2018, the People's Bank of China has required all online payment businesses of third-party platforms such as Alipay and Tenpay to be processed through the NetsUnion platform. The central bank's launch of NetsUnion ("the younger brother of UnionPay") aims to standardize third-party payments and effectively enhance the security of fund protection.
In late November 2019, Tangneng Translation learned through a bidding website that NetsUnion Clearing Corporation (NUCC) planned to procure a translation company to complete the Chinese-to-English translation of cross-border business-related materials for 2019, with the entire project expected to involve 200,000 words. By emphasizing its high-quality translation experience and comprehensive service solutions, Tangneng Translation successfully won the bid and became the primary translation supplier for this project.
NetsUnion Clearing Corporation (NUCC) is an operational institution of the online payment clearing platform for non-bank payment institutions, approved for establishment by the People's Bank of China. Founded in August 2017, its business scope includes building and operating a national unified clearing system and providing fund clearing for online payment businesses of non-bank payment institutions.
The materials of NetsUnion are not unfamiliar to us, as its "elder brother" UnionPay has long been a loyal client of Tangneng Translation for many years. Since 2016, Tangneng Translation has consecutively won bids as a supplier for "UnionPay Data" for four years, establishing a long-term cooperative relationship by providing English-Chinese and Chinese-English translation, corresponding typesetting services, and on-site translation deployment. In November of this year, it also won the bid for the translation service procurement project of "UnionPay Co., Ltd.," contributing to the internationalization process of China UnionPay.
