In 2019, Tsinghua University, celebrating its 108th birthday, embraced the world with an inclusive mindset, absorbing the essence of Chinese and Western cultures, and actively engaging globally.
In October 2018, the Southeast Asia Center of Tsinghua University broke ground in Bali, Indonesia; in November, the Asian University Alliance initiated by Tsinghua released its first research report, Asia Higher Education Outlook 2018; in December, the Latin America Center of Tsinghua University was established in Santiago, Chile. In 2018, the campus "International Competence Enhancement Plan 2020" was successfully implemented. In January 2019, Tsinghua proposed and, together with seven other universities, launched the World University Climate Change Alliance in Davos; so far, the university has signed intercollegiate cooperation agreements with 285 universities and research institutions in 50 countries.
Tangneng Translation's cooperation with the Research Institute of Tsinghua University began on November 7 this year. Tangneng Translation provided translation services for the Research Institute, focusing on scientific research documents with Chinese-to-Japanese translation. The second cooperation project in December involved translating PPT files for conferences, containing research project reports with Chinese-to-English translation, both projects having tight deadlines. By synchronizing translation, proofreading, and typesetting, we shortened the timeline, meeting the client's requirements for both time and quality, and achieving highly satisfactory results.
