Twenty years is but a fleeting moment in a lifetime, yet it is enough to witness the growth and brilliance of an enterprise. Today, the second day of Shanghai’s full unlocking and resumption of work, marks the 20th anniversary of Tangneng Translation. This afternoon, the Tangneng Translation 20th anniversary celebration was successfully held at the company.
Since its establishment on June 7, 2002, Tangneng Translation has traversed a full two decades. Founded by two Shanghai International Studies University teachers and returnees in 2002 as Shanghai Tangneng Translation Training School, and expanded into Shanghai Tangneng Translation Consulting Co., Ltd. in 2004, it has now joined the leading ranks of the global language service industry, including "Top 10 Influential Brands in China’s Translation Industry" and "Top 27 Asia-Pacific Language Service Providers."
Due to the pandemic, many colleagues were unable to attend the event in person. Su, the General Manager of Tangneng Translation, personally recorded a video message for the 20th anniversary, summarizing the company’s growth journey over two decades. When describing Tangneng’s twenty years, Ms. Su used the keyword "willful." The original intention of founding Tangneng was "willful"—a desire to "make communication simpler" and reduce language barriers for enterprises going global. Over the past twenty years of trials and errors, Tangneng has "willfully" focused on translation alone, driven by the determination to stick to its original mission. For two decades, Tangneng has consistently pursued integrity and brand reputation, a "willful" pursuit deeply ingrained in its brand DNA and values.
