1. Japan Industrial Pavilion
TalkingChina Translation was designated as the general contractor for bilingual service personnel dispatching service by the Japan Industrial Pavilion of the Shanghai World Expo.
After TalkingChina’s rigorous pre-interview and training, more than 250 Japanese-language university students and 10 Japanese hostesses were assigned to the site to serve the Expo. During the six-month World Expo, It has withstood the severe test of complicated shifts and heavy reception workloads. Our work was strongly commended in written form by the Japanese organizers.
2.International Information Development Network Pavilion
In January 2010, TalkingChina Translation was commissioned by the World Expo International Information Development Network Pavilion to translate a book written by the president of the association himself, with about 45,000 words.
The original text is in Spanish and needs to be translated into authentic English and will eventually be published. In view of the high-end requirements of the client, we assigned two native translators, ensuring the natural and smooth expression of the whole book. After the translation was completed, the president of the association personally reviewed the manuscript and gave a high evaluation.
