China International Import Expo (CIIE), hosted by the Ministry of Commerce of the People's Republic of China and the Shanghai Municipal People's Government, has attracted more than 1,000 companies from 58 countries along the "Belt and Road". It will become another crucial support for the initiative.
TalkingChina Translation became the recommended translation service provider of the Expo after winning the bid. During the first CIIE, TalkingChina provided on-site interpretations for a total of 156 sessions in the six-day exhibition in Chinese-English/Chinese-Japanese/Chinese-Russian, 26 interpreters involved. There were a total of 7 on-site simultaneous interpretation sessions, involving 14 senior interpreters. TalkingChina set up a booth in the comprehensive service area of the Expo., providing multilingual interpretation services for exhibitors from all over the world. After the exhibition, the official organizing committee of the Expo sent a thank-you letter, expressing its recognition of the services provided by TalkingChina during the Expo.
